London rioters: 'Showing the rich we do what we want'

That sounds about right. I used to hear that kind of talk when I was a kid, never made the front page news though, it was just kids talking. In fact I was a student in London during the 70's and I blush at the amount of trouble I got up to, but it was all for the common good -g- It was an eye opener how corrupt society is, and today I think it's worse. I have worked in Croydon, the owners of many of those pubs are not "polite society" and don't necessarily play by the rules. It isn't just the police those kids have to worry about and it may be a shock to them who the rich really are in their environment. They will be close by and watching them, and as said, not polite society.

Looks as if the unemployment problem can get fixed in a jiffy providing your record is clean. The security biz will be hiring.

If you’re under about 25 yrs it's normal to be a little anarchistic and sweetly naive about how the world should be. Once you over about 40 odd years, you tend to be a little more right wing and controlling, especially if you are a parent. Over 50 years, you are like me but I used to be more then a "little" anarchistic during my younger days -g-.
