Agreed. When you're locked into an ideology that believes it is perfect despite any data to the contrary, you tend to find yourself in indefensible positions after parroting talking points you've read somewhere else. On the other hand, I see opinions from every possibility when I read all of the other posters here that are not locked into their ideology as you and many others are, that usually do not vote for the current members of the Politburo.

Unable to make his point he posts inane questions It is beyond me why reasonable conservatives waste any time on this guy. This is Joe Shepard. I worked in his area 20+ years ago at IBM. He was a nut job then. Do you think he has started to make sense now many years into retirement?? I sincerely hope that most of the good conservatives here will spend at least as much time and effort convincing independents to come over to our side in the next election. That is where the payoff is.......especially if you live in a contested state. I live in New York.....with no chance to have an effect on state wide elections. Still......I'm at it every time I'm with two of my closest friends.......both Obama supporters......but unduly influenced, in my opinion, by their two naive liberal drone wives.
