Thank you very much for your recommendation. Through Amazon, it's about half the price as some of the others I found through Bing.

There were more people happy with that battery than the one guy who couldn't get it to fit. I had trouble with getting the battery to go back in properly when I first took it out. You have to put the edge with the contact in first, even though it looks like it should be the other way.

I'll take the gamble and hope I get lucky.

I took a chance and ordered the battery through Amazon. It arrived today. Pretty good price too.

I had a little problem getting it to fit but with a little persistence, it finally went in. I can see what those few who complained about it were taking about.

It's working, although I'm not sure I understand the status. When I first turned the computer after letting it charge for about an hour it said: 98% remaining. I thought an hour was a little fast to charge up the battery. Now it says 72% remaining. Maybe that means that there's still 72% left to charge, not that I used up 28%.

But I thank you again for the recommendation.
