Shades of '08 if that happens, and I agree, it easily could (down down down in the face of severely oversold conditions). Years of money pumping for nothing and manipulation are being shown to be a nice coat of paint on a rusty hulk.

Question is, how will the miners and/or gold & silver continue to behave? And even in the bloodbath of '08, there was significant denial after the first big declines and new marginal highs were reached.

But it never happens the same way, does it? Gold at 1820? I didn't think that would happen this year at all... I've been on vacation for almost two weeks, and it had not even hit Sinclair's 1650 before I left. I would no longer be surprised at a moonshot to 1900 before it craters like silver did at the beginning of May.
