Amsterdam (are you in Holland?) Someone at BROC could answer your questions better than I, but I will give my opinion. They have been hard at work updating the legacy products (TakeControl 98 release) and feel that these products will be competitive for a few more years. They do not expect to lose many existing customers as the upgrades are competitive with Siebel and other products. The expectation is actually for a continued level of new TakeControl sales.

It is not clear to me that NetGain can not be used for callcenter applications, in fact that is one of the functions it is expected to play in installation at my company and based on the demos I have seen, looks like it does it great. I do agree that NetGain would be overkill for a "simple callcenter only" application, it is more of an "enterprise" marketing and information system for a multi-location company.

I agree that we will be well into 1998 before the bottom line is influenced in a big way by NetGain. I do expect a moderate revenue increase this quarter from TakeControl upgrades. However, stock price usually reacts well in advance of big profits. It happens as investors begin to see proof that a new concept such as NetGain has big potential. It is my opinion that this proof will come during the beta test and early marketing phases. (BROC (also Siebel) is presenting at an important conference in Boston in early December)

Given that NetGain really is a technological advance, it is my opinion that the stock price will be driven up earlier or else one of the larger competitors might be tempted to a buyout. Now this is purely my own unfounded speculation, I have heard nothing about any lookers.

Your concerns are well founded, we will all be watching closely to see how it turns out.
