Right on, Right on, Right on: from your post SS...but perhaps we're demanding him to be something he's not capable of being.....it is clear to not only these pundits but to all progressives that jobs must be a priority and that he take this fight to the R's with the entire electorate(well, minus Koch, etc) watching his back....

As a result, more Democrats are saying it is time for him to scrap his more cautious, conciliatory approach and advocate bolder programs that would generate jobs and economic growth, even though many of those ideas would have no chance of passing Congress.

Added Neera Tanden, a former Obama and Clinton administration official who is now chief operating officer at the liberal Center for American Progress: “He can take his ideas to the Republicans and use the House Republicans’ intransigence on his ideas as a foil. And by having a fight on jobs, he will communicate to the American people that he understands their challenges and he’s on their side.”

I find it interesting that Neera Tanden(don't know her) is a former Obama official and now leads a liberal think tank.

The constitution grants the President a veto power. How many times has Obama used it? He should carry a big stick and be aggressive when the his presidency is ridiculed by extremist. You see banner saying that a village in Kenya lost an idiot. Caricature showing Obama with an ape face. How can this be allowed? I know there is freedom of expression, but dishonoring the office of the president - which cannot be separated by having the occupant constantly humiliated - is a no no. You can disagree without insulting the President of the most powerful country in the world.

Again, I have repeated argued that he should have invoked the 14th amendment and let the chips fall where it may. Damn impeachment by Michelle Bachman whose eyes show how crazy she is. Remember in 2008 when she ask that every politician be investigated for the love of the country? I just don't understand how insane the tea party has become. Cut spending, cut spending but leave loopholes for corporation and let the wealthy not participate in the shared sacrifice.

Finally, I am tired of this circus. The stock market will probably be down again in the coming weeks. That is the only consolation I see, i.e. stocks are at bargain prices. Get ready to back up the truck.
