Thanks for the Wonderware news, Jan. Sounds like TPRO is doing just what they need to be and more. I agree it is very important. A great way to access another potential 1000 engineers for working with your product.

I also agree that gearing up will result in significant and necessary expenses. I am new to the board so I am still trying to get my bearings in regard to the very bullish estimates on the board here and square them with the Red Chip Review's comments.

As you say, patience is a great virtue, especially in this situation. Unfortunately it is not my most notable quality. And it does seem we are building a solid base in the 6 range as you say. I'm sure that TPRO will exhibit considerable volatility over the next couple of years as earnings start to come in and investors ponder just how much of their business will remain after year 2000 problems have been handled. So patience will become even more important.

Since I am not technically oriented, I have some difficulty getting up to speed on TPRO and understanding its business model and operations. I will say however, that beyond question, this thread and the people on it speak volumes of good news for the stock. There is more top quality research and usable information on the TPRO threads ,BY FAR, than on any other SI thread. Although I know little about technology, I do know a bit about people. And I believe that any company that attracts this quality of posters and posting has an extraordinary chance of great success.

Ultimately we invest in human beings, since great products with mediocre people behind them will ultimately stagnate.

SCOOP ... kinda, sorta ... WHO KNOWS?
====================================================================

On November 7 I met with XXXXXXX Magazine. A major, mainstream publication. After our meeting, the words used were "re-assessing Y2K", "embedded systems .... compelling". In any event, thought you might be interested in cover letter that went with presentation.

REMEMBER .... just cause I met with them, and they asked for more information .... doesn't mean they're going to do a cover story, or any story soon (if ever). But, I have a gut feeling. And, if they don't do the story ... I know some other people who ARE interested.

Dear XXXXX,

Thank you for taking the time to meet with XXXXX & myself ... blah, blah, blah ..............

While many discount "Year 2000", thinking that companies involved with the fix are hyping to generate revenue for themselves, there are NO companies within my presentation selling anything. All input is generated by people directly involved with the fix.

The problem is overwhelming. Billions of embedded chips. Electrical engineers & system integrators are required for the fix. Not enough of them. Most people don't even realize they have a potential problem. Even many, many IS guys don't understand this "embedded system" problem.

It's estimated that for every line of code ... there are 10 embedded chips!

There are so many fragmented "grassroots" groups out there of engineers, utility workers, medical personnel, etc. frantically trying to figure out where to go, what to do.

Serious media coverage from a mainstream publication in vitally important. I hope you agree.

I have a list of several well-known people involved with this issue, as well as a number of people actually managing projects. If you would like this list, please contact me.

Additionally, I do know of only one publicly-traded company who is working on this and has a product to speed up the process of finding/fixing/remediating these embedded systems. But, I did not want to undermine the integrity of my research by seeming to "push" or promote a company. I would glad to provide this also, if you're interested.

If you need further proof of the severity of this problem. Check this out.

Again, thank you for your time.
