>>>If I ever get to the point where I start seeing dynamic yield curve charts in my dreams, it'll be time for a serious re-evaluation of my lifestyle.<<<

In 1992, I raced in the Olympic trials for the Star Class - sailing. That sounds like a big deal, but it isn't. All one had to do was have two weeks vacation, a boat, and a place to stay in Coconut Grove (Miami). They were held in the first two weeks of May that year.

The guys that won the trials had been camped out there since October. Sailed every day. Got to know what the winds did with every sort of cloud formation. Knew the currents everywhere. After the starting gun, you could see them for maybe 20 minutes, then they were figuratively over the horizon. A humbling experience to be sure. But it was worthwhile to see what real competition means - and to get a nice tan.

Point being, if you want to smack a homer in the market, then you have to see this stuff in your dreams. I might add, that if you merely want to tread water given today's volatility/government interference, then you have to do the same.
