Celebrated JXN's birthday today (a couple days late) with just the two of us. Went to the driving range, then his favorite restaurant where he knows all the staff, then to the Game Store to get the latest online Mortal Combat game. He's now at the baseball game with his dad just to the side of home plate 6 rows back. Delightful afternoon. He proudly told me he now has abs - a very necessary thing for a 12 YO. He told me that now he won't be embarrassed to take off his shirt at the beach. ;)
