Obama is not ignorant. The race to socialism must overrun any independence of the individual. Government control of jobs, education, energy, health care, all are related to the independence of the people. Lately, we've heard the reasons for government control of the Internet, Kerry's recent comments for censorship, and Obama's zest for ignoring the Constitution. It takes time to get everyone back on the plantation, fortunately, Obama has plenty of useful idiots blindly running the race.

How many years has the left been getting away with blocking energy production in this country 30 - 40 yrs? They will continue doing so as long as we let them get away with it. We need to want to capture and process our abundant fossil fuel energy sources more than they want to them shut down. I don't think he's ignorant so much as he's committed to an ideology that promotes "natural sources of energy." He's bought in to the GW argument and believes we are doomed if we don't cut CO2 emissions. I also wouldn't be surprised to learn he's wedded to the cause for monetary reasons either. It is going to take a huge and concerted effort to stop these fanatics/extremists. Obama is ignorant when it comes to energy independence. The USA is rich in natural resources which can be tapped with old and new technology.
