This is the weekly update of the Group and SOXM(SOX) tables in terms of earnings estimates and price changes. Both the Group and the SOXM(SOX) stopped their downtrends this week. Earnings estimates for both accelerated to the downside this week. This continues the downward trend started about the first of June. There is considerable correlation between the downward trend in earnings estimates and the index prices over the past many weeks. NSM was removed from the SOXM this week. This takes away about $25 from the SOXM index this week and for future weeks.
