Yeah, right, the downgrade had nothing to do with the increase in debt per GDP ... it was because the Wepublicans wanted to tear up the country's credit card.

What can you do with people who can't even believe (or who would like about) the explicit language of the S&P rating process? You can disagree with the S&P, but it's very obvious they downgraded because they didn't like the completely ignorant and cavalier attitude of the winger/baggers- who were willing to walk the economy to the edge. Now any winger/bagger with balls would say "Sure- we walked it to the edge because we just don't give a f*ck"- but since they have no balls, they simple need to deny the S&P said what it said.

What cavalier attitude toward default? Who is saying let's default on the debt? Or saying doing so isn't a serious thing? I think you're erecting a strawman there.

How about the cavalier attitude itself toward the downgrade itself by Democrats who claimed S&P just made a math error, called for the arrest of S&P execs, and has the SEC investigating S&P re. the downgrade?
