Romney is certainly one of the sanest in the field (probably one of the reasons he did so badly in Iowa)- but the evangelicals really hate the Mormons, and i don't see them getting enthusiastic about a rich Mormon who has less than spectacular teabagger appeal.

That's where I'm heading too, Sam. Romney and someone else. Rubio looks to be a good bet. But he could be forced to take someone like Bachmann, which will, quite obviously, damage him in the general more than Rubio would.
