Hi BBS, yes we have taken all 3 kids to church. Did that for many reasons, but mainly to help build ethical character, to show them different sides of life and to teach service. Too many spoiled narcissistic brats around.

We also have taken them to mosques, temples etc, just so they're educated and not narrow-minded, and then make their own choices.

My son has remained active in the church in ways I approve - for instance he works at a church food bank once a week, serving meals to poor people via the church charity. The pastor told him that serving food to the hungry was a good way to god. No truer words ever spoken. I personally don't care where my kids end up in their beliefs, but I do care about their character.

Valley is booming, no recession in my world. But it's definitely the case of too much cash chasing too few deals. Meanwhile the exits are closing, valuations falling. So my guess is that we're in for a rough ride overall in the entrepreneurial tech sector. That will be a real shock to some people.
