The rioters don't have individual slaves to attack, so they attack anyone who looks "rich". Yes, you are right, having slaves is a recipe for disaster, for the slaves, if not everybody else too. A return to Virtuous Victorian Values is assured. Not necessarily in England. Probably not in China. Very unlikely in Brazil. The Tea Party in USA is revolting, so perhaps VVV will succeed in USA.
