Once in a moderate gale a seaman fell over-board off the transom... a place he shouldn't have been... either taking aleak, or pucking or drunk or whatever... in any case Walter was on the bridge and they were able to turn 80ft boat around and retreat more then a mile following that almost imperceptible trail of bubbles that large vessels leave and finally to find the sailor bobbing about in his life vest.

Yes, there are a few more stories.... like when a cook stuck his head out-of-a-hatch to get some air.... only to watch the trail of a torpedo go under their boat.
