An objective analysis of Rick Perry's record indicates that he is very weak on the issue of immigration. [1]

-- Perry was rated as Good on the following immigration sub-categories:

Secure Borders, Support Local Enforcement, Punish Business Violators

-- Perry was rated as Bad on the following immigration sub-categories:

Mandate E-Verify, Limit Unfair Worker Competition

-- Perry was rated as Unhelpful on the following immigration sub-categories:

Oppose Amnesty/Legalization, Reduce Overall Immigration, End Chain Migration, End Visa Lottery, Implement Entry/Exit, Tackle Refugee Fraud, End Birthright Citizenship

Overall, Perry received a grade of D- from NumbersUSA and I am convinced that he deserves that grade based on numerous articles about his views and policies that I have read over the past several years.

Asserting that Perry cannot be stronger on immigration without offending Hispanics, Latinos, and Mestizos in Texas is deplorable. With that type of fear, it's no wonder that the United States is in dire straits and sinking fast.
