Chuck,

You're right. If this company had no value then we would have seen a lot more than 2million shares traded. Divide by half then we get just over 1million. Alot of these could have been traders. Therefore, there is not a great selling rush, just the price being pushed down.

Re: Dumpola

Doesn't anyone else wonder why more shares aren't being sold?

Large holders may not sell:

1. Gold funds aren't sitting on many capital gains (to say the least), so this incentive to sell a loser like IPMCF is lost.

2. They put so little money into the stock, as a percentage of their overall assets, that trying to manage their exit may not be important.

3. Holders of size are stuck like a bug on a pin. Two won't hold if a quarter-million hits the market.

The fact that big guys aren't selling is not, in and of itself, encouraging.

I'm off to lunch.

Charles; $2 is often a magic number for margin. Under $2 has no ability to be margined at most brokers. Some will not margin any CDN stock, others in between.
If IPM closes under two there is a risk of a margin cascade downward as those under margin are forced to sell. There might be several margins calls, some at $5 and some at $4m $3m and finally the last one at $2, as different brokers enforce different margin rules. Was there a bunch of selling as each $ mark was broken.
