That statement is analogous to suggesting that the first course of action in dealing with a stopped up, overflowing toilet is to turn the water off at the source. Of course, that's a good plan for immediately solving a linear problem like a clogged toilet, but it's not a good plan for dealing with a non-linear problem like illegal immigration.

The United States has the resources to simultaneously (a) secure the border, (b) stop facilitating the presence of existing illegals, (c) find and deport illegals, and (d) mitigate the damage they've caused thus far.

Consider this... How many millions of school kids are bused to and from school five days a week without any significant fanfare or incidents? The problem of deporting millions of illegals is no more challenging, logistically.

American citizens must refuse to tolerate the presence of illegals to any degree and we must refuse to accept politicians who facilitate their illegal presence in our country. Congress must understand that these points are non-negotiable and that they will be replaced by people who see the issue in the correct light and are willing to initiate concrete actions to eliminate the presence of illegal aliens and their anchor babies from American soil. -ng-
