Many months ago when I opened by account I over nighted them my application and a check and I was on-line the afternoon of the following day. Has your check cleared?

I sent my application and check in priority mail. It took two days for the account to be opened. It was relatively quick.

I submitted my preliminary account account application online November 6. I received an e-mail telling my new account packet would arrive in a few days. That was twelve days ago. Two days ago I sent them an e-mail asking for the status of my application. I have not had a response to that e-mail. This is remarkedly close to what I experience with e-trade back in 1994. I was with them only a short time, and they have not gotten any better. These cheap discounters must not have the ability to handle all the business they are going after. I have traded online since 1990, and I have had the best experience with e-schwab. Everytime I consider changing to one of the deep discounters seems like the service is lousy. Hope you get your account opened.
