Well. I just documented that TX's public school system outperforms CA's .... your claim may or may not be true .... though it's probably not true. It stands to figure a large state will have a lot of adults of all sorts. As for absolute numbers of adults w/o high school diplomas I'd be surprised if CA isn't number one. Though with CA's school system, a HS degree may not mean as much as one from TX.
