Your claim is illogical. Can you cite the source that you based your assertion on?

The fact of the matter is that at least 95% (96% in some polls) of African Americans voted for Barack Obama in 2008, as did 43% of Whites. McCain drew only 4% of the votes cast by African Americans [1].

Even if we falsely assume that every White who did not vote for Obama based his/her decision purely on his race alone, we arrive at only 57%. How does that contrived assumption begin to compare to 95 or 96 percent of the Black vote, which was cast for Obama?

Moreover, Barack Obama, a Black Democrat, received the highest percentage of White votes cast for any Democratic presidential candidate since at least 1980, with the exception of Bill Clinton in 1996, who also captured 43% of the White vote [1]. In stark contrast, McCain, a White Republican, received the lowest percentage of Black votes, by far, since at least 1980 [1].

Now, please tell me, which race is more likely to vote on the basis of race?
