Jack, Steve and Raj . . . thanks for your input. Obviously, your answers were exactly what I had hoped, but I like to be thorough about these things. TPRO's CD concept has always had a much more functional aspect to it that I like, as opposed to the "tools" some of these other CD's claim to have, but fail to deliver. After more of my own research, I'll take our case back to my hedge fund friend with STRENGTH.

Thanks again for your prompt and proficient responses.

KLN, from what I understand it is just that kind of complacency that makes this a much bigger problem. People don't view it as such a big deal, but from listening to this thread and reading the articles in the research site, I am a believer that it really is a big problem. Think about all of the devices out there in the factories that are date sensitive, there are millions of them and if one doesn't work the whole system will shut down. People have a hard time thinking more than 3 months ahead, so thinking two years ahead is unheard of. Most probably feel they can worry about this a few months before the end of the decade at which point it will be too late. That's why many economists are predicting a recession in 2000. Many company production lines will go off line for months at a time to try and fix the problem. The companies that are smart and trying to fix their specific y2k problems now stand to benefit greatly over their competitors in the future. And if they were really smart they should all be buying TPRO's CD and its services!!!!
