Being wealth, even increasing your wealth from an already large base, does not equal, imply, or even suggest screwing anyone else. In fact more often than not the activities that result in higher wealth are to the net benefit of other people, often in total to a far higher degree than they are to the benefit of the individual increasing his wealth.

OTOH, the extent that's true might be shrinking, as government intervention (and thus opportunities for wealth gains by rent seeking) increases.
