I don't see how anything you said contradicts what I said.

The idea that deficits are keynesian in nature is not accurate...that's what I meant.

But that was back when Bush was running up the deficit to the tune of $400 billion a year.

That's more like it...the nature of traditional debt comes from pandering to one's electoral side...reps do it with tax cuts and dems do it with social programs. It's not keynes, it's politics.
