did you hear that it snowed in Auckland NZ?

first time since the 70s

and before that it hadn't snowed inn Auckland since the 1930s

so let's see....2011 - 1970 = 41
1970 - 1930 = 40

I would bet it snowed in the 1890s too.

And I'll bet it will snow in the 2050s

Almost like there is a 40 year weather cycle or something.

hmmm, I wonder......
