Given some of the stunts he's pulled, its surprising to me that he's still popular in TX. Apparently, they don't expect much from their governors.

Ten gallon hats, pointy boots and swagger....even rove was going after him yesterday...he ignored that today and chided obama, who passed at the chance to swipe at him (although he did in a classy sort of a way with "i'll cut him slack" comment)....
