It looks like we will be setting some new lows over the next couple of months along the same direction as those trend lines. Not everything is interpretive via the economy (I never liked that 'stupid' saying) but certainly life style and economic opportunity is based on economic conditions. With unemployment, college tuition becoming increasingly unaffordable, loss of social cohesion, increasing homelessness, food insecurity, health, cognitive development in children, etc. we will see greater levels of dissatisfaction with the system and ultimately those empowered to manage it.
