Is Vivus' supplier for the MUSE drug still based in Hungary ?

Can some one post a quick summary of MUSE vs. Pfizer's upcoming Viagara. What are possible claims can Pfizer make that will threaten MUSE ?

Gene, that's better.

Totally agreed this time. As a researcher about PDE myself, I really
don't feel comfortable about not having seen a peer-reviewed high caliber journal article on viagra. In all the in-vitro studies I have seen so far, it's a highly specific drug (relative to all the other types of PDEs) and very potent. But as I said, PDE5 is expressed in several tissues, and we really know very little about other potential
effects (good or bad) after repeated usages over a long period of time, and what about the effects on diabetic patients, etc..

Our society has adopted an attitude on "magic pill", and always believe that there is a "magic pill" to treat anything or everything. If I am fat, I will take Redux (or potentially leptin), so i don't have to work hard to rid of the weight, then KABOON! Redux is recalled ( and lawsuit in the horizon?). Now, a lot women (please, no flame here!) use estrogen (or testostrone) to make themself feel/look younger, then BANG!, estrogen
therapy is shown to lead to higher breast cancer risk. I think Viagra
plays into this type of mentality, for pleasure, guys (with or without ED) will go all out to get this drug once it's available. It's a
culture thing! So, yes, I believe Viagra will present a huge threat to VVUS (right or wrong!) on a short term basis, but I also believe that VVUS will survive once the initial shock-wave is gone. After
all, MUSE does make men last longer, and that is important for the WOMEN!

Happy investment! JMHO
