These stocks have had 200-400% moves this year. I think they deserve some time off.

These companies are being priced for phenomenal revenue acceleration -- over 100% per year. In LCOS' case, 30% rev growth sequential quarter to quarter. This past quarter, Lycos grew revenues at the rate of 20%, 10% for the all-important ad revenues. Until they show they can grow revenues (again) at 30% sequential per quarter (or higher), the value that fund managers will pay for LCOS stock will go down -- especially during times of market weakness. Also, there has been alot of focus on LCOS being profitable. But some are asking whether revenues were loaded into the 1st quarter to assure LCOS' first "profitable" quarter. I don't look for many downgrades, nor upgrades. Just a slow selloff. This is all just my opinion, of course. And I may be totally wrong.

<<now we have profits>>

A.D.A.M. (adam) software made more money than Lycos and they are trading at 2 3/4 with a 13MM market cap!

Just putting things in perspective.

You sound like a guy that bought LCOS this morning. I have been on that side of the fence enough times :( to know how this game is played. Thats why I shorted the hell out of that sucker right up to close yesterday. I dont know if you noticed but LCOS still had an operating loss and it really does look as though they threw all their eggs into this basket(this quarter)to "get profitable". The street isnt stupid and what you saw this morning was the mom and pop buying in addition to a short squeeze. After that it went into the toilet and will most likely spiral downward for awhile. That plus profit taking in the internet sector which has had an unbelievable run the last week or so. Sorry so long winded but I could ramble on forever.... Disclaimer: My Opinion only. Oh yeah...LCOS's upward momentum is gone too now. Good Luck
