He is outlandish with his comments but has been right on with many of his predictions, (which at the time were way outside the mainstream line of thought). I have read his stuff for several years. He was adamant for a long time that a coming housing collapse would be very deep and extremely detrimental to the US economy. I'll give him credit where credit is due. He was also right on cue for the most recent breakout of silver.
