Funny thing is I didn't know that people were called different names by color. I just thought they were people ;^) Yep, that little six year old traumatized me! Funny how I remember that small part of that day. I guess it was because I was so proud that I learned how to tie those shoes. I was sitting on the top of two steps and she had a green dress and something like a white band in her hair. I also remember two toys. One was a bread truck made of tin or something and a tiny wooden stage coach that I lost near the fence. It had to be hand carved. This was around 1955. Old toys were so cool and still are.
