Capitalism and communism are both worthless philosophies, I have and will always believe in socialism. I view it as compassionate capitalism or humanized communism. Often times, here is the SF Bay area, the debate about paying the BART (rapid transit) tax comes up. We hear folks who drive and do not use BART at all argue that since they do not use it, they should have to pay the tax. This their fall back to the famous Reagan term "user fee". What they do not realize that the tax these non riders of BART are paying also keeps many people off the roads and allows these non users to get from one place to another very quickly. So keeping the BART running through their tax dollars is in their own interest. Again the concept of community and hence socialism. Not capitalism where it si generall "each one to himself or herself."
