<<<<<We are not in debt because we have an artificially high standard of living>>>>>>

How can you possible think that? You have to pay the real cost of gasoline (including the cost of the wars) and you have to pay the real cost of your medical care (pay now for when you get old and can't) and your income goes crashing downward. Then add to that your portion of the debt that just gets rolled over and your standard of living shrinks further.

You are incensed with charging people who make lots of money more (and I have no problem with that), but it is crazy to think that most Americans are paying more than their share - when they are paying NOTHING! So about half of the people in America who pay NO INCOME TAX are getting a free ride. IOW's they are living beyond their means.

<<<<<because we are paying directly and indirectly for a war we didn't have to and should not have anything to do with. >>>>>>

Then I suggest you support Ron Paul as he seems to be the only one around who gets this.
