Greg:

Consider a scenario that the market will fall to 6200 in Feb and then rise to 8000 by the end of 1998. Instead of falling to 6200 and then resuming the march to 8000, alternatively, the market can reach 8000 by the end of 1988 amid a lot of volatility. Under this alternative scenario, one has to be selective in picking stocks.
