So many things would be better, John. Things like cleaner and safer environment. The list would be very long if it was actually itemized. But it would be difficult because so much of the deterioration in our quality of life has been happening gradually and we don't always notice it until we are standing in line in a supermarket watching a woman with 4 little kids in tow, one in a stroller and one on the way, paying for steaks with food stamps and buying disposable diapers and cigarettes with her cash. .
