They should have thought about that when they decided to create the EU. It is too late now to back out.

But that is far different than what we have in the United States.

What we have in the US is a disparity between the rich and poor that is too great and the gap is getting wider. This can not be sustained. The bottom 50% own 2.5 % of all assets.

You must have been joking when you wrote that the bottom 50% paid no federal taxes and were a bunch of free loaders.
You must have been joking when you implied that they should sacrifice and pay more to share the burden of supporting the United States.

As a matter of coincidence I just saw Jon Stewart do a hilarious piece on this very subject. Only he saw how ridiculous the situation has become. The usual Fox notables were quoted pretty much in line with your remarks in their counter arguments..
