Crossy,

I like Kudlow too. American Skandia got him cheap last year because his drug problem got him fired from the position of Cheif Economist at Bear Sterns. Apparently he had a cocain and alchohal problem and would not show up to meetings - even ones he was supposd to be speaking at. He is bright though.

I am playing it safe and looking at Phillip Morris (MO). Looks like good support near the 41 to 42 range. Stock is cheap and should have good profits no matter what the economy does. Whats your TA view?

Thanks

Crossy - it looks like your portfolio did nicely today despite such a profit taking day. Heehee, mine gave back everything it gained yesterday - and then some.

Did put in a BID for JLG, didn't get it. May try again tomorrow.

Yes, Kudlow was with President Reagan (1st term, I thin.) He was on NBR quite a lot when he was with BS - now I know what has happened to him! Personally, I am not much of a supply-sider. Um, maybe a Greenspanian <vbg>, i.e., a pragmatist!

S Korea is indeed in deep do-do. There was an article in WSJ today saying that a korean fund (close end) with 90% in cash (GTF Asset Mgt?) If a country fund is so worried, one should stop and ponder.

Hi Crossy,

Just had to comment on the fact that you're receiving "Squawk Box" now. Hope the technology that has made it possible, is a sattelite dish from one of our favorite companies--USSB <vbg>

In any event, hope you enjoy it. Just a word of caution though...don't act too swiftly on the info you receive from CNBC. There have been instances where they didn't exactly have the correct facts. To be fair though, I must say these incidents have been rare.

Happy to hear you're considering re-entering KLIC. I've hung in there with KLIC, ASND, NANO, USSB--even UGLY & APM (that last one has been a headache recently). Ah well, shortly Wall St. will probably decide they overdid the reaction to Asia's problems.

Good luck in the markets,

Ann
