Quite true. My concern was that your first list left out anything positive whatsoever. It was not an analysis, just a litany of complaints. I think that a thoughtful analysis would be much more useful. I did not provide that either, just trying to show that there is more to it than the simplistic list. Just trying to get a more thoughtful approach. Along those lines, do we focus on this problem because, all in all, it has such a profound effect on the real economy? Or do we focus on it because the powers that be want the middle class warring with the underclass while the rich and powerful rob us blind with zero interest rates that force us to speculate if we want to keep up with inflation? My own opinion is that the effect is somewhat of a wash.
