Good article on Poland and it's NG resources.

Unfortunately for FXEN it means losing 50% you value in several weeks.

Have sold quite a few Sep 5 puts and a few Dec 5's. I'll take the stock at these prices. Might as well take the high premiums doing it.

Poland needs shale gas specialists

The country might have the gas, but does it have the manpower?

One of the biggest challenges Poland faces in developing the shale gas deposits located beneath its surface is finding a labor force skilled enough to carry out the extraction work, reports The Wall Street Journal.

The chief executive of Orlen Upstream, Wieslaw Prugar, was quoted as saying a “qualified” work force is one of the main issues Poland will need to address if it is to develop its shale gas reserves.

“There are about 1,000 shale jobs in Poland right now, but there will be 50,000 to 100,000 in the next 10 years,” Jakub Kostecki, chief executive of recruiting firm New Gas Contracting, told Gazeta Wyborcza.

An April report by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimated that Poland's shale gas reserves could be as large as 5.3 million cubic meters.
