The number of private sector jobs in Texas has gone down during Perry's tenure,

Over 10 years? Can you support that? Controversial statements IMO deserve a link.

Considering the growth in the population of Texas over that time - it seems to me that you - to be kind - off base.

Try this as a basis of discussion.

Then there is this one.

My advice to anti-Perry advocates is this: Give up talking about Texas jobs. Texas is an incredible outlier among the states when it comes to jobs. Not only are they creating them, they're creating ones with higher wages.

One can argue that Perry had very little to do with the job situation in Texas, but such a person should be probably prepare themselves for the consequences of that line of reasoning. If Rick Perry had nothing to do with creating jobs in Texas, than why does Obama have something to do with creating jobs anywhere?

That's a ot of crap you're serving up.

I live in the Woodlands and they have a suprior school system in all regards - there are many just like it all ovcer Texas.

As for jobs at minimum wage -Houston provides drilling tools for the World. These are high quality very skilled jobs.National Oil Well Varco (who I sell trucks to) has been a huge employer that has increased its payroll.

Had the idiot in the White House not shut down the Gulf of Mexico for over a year the job gains would have been magnificent as those creating the fracing technology are on hiring increases.(over 20,000 lost last year as the floating rig were towed to Brasil)

The stagnant job situation comes from the Dem increasing the minimum, wage when they know full well it reduces employment every time they do so.

The" ranks stuck" at less than minimum wage stagnation are those who are chronically on the SS saftey net.

LC>>
You also failed to mention that Texas has the absolute worst education system in the US, ..... <<<

Pure BS...this is an outright lie and falsehood. Any serious student ...anyone who reads the peer-reviewed data knows this is false.

Liberalism/treehuggerism, socialism, anarcho-environmentalism is a secular substitute for Islamofascism.

Agree with Kman; why endure pollution from those who demonize the oil industry as they practice geographic bigotry of all things Southern.

LC is intellectually and culturally bigoted and silly posts about Texas are just another example for everyone to see.
