I understand why the tea party scares them to death. Democrats always demonize anything that is a threat to their power. They will use their regular usual tactics. Polls will show that approval for the tea party is going down but it will have little impact. The country is spilt approximately 40 % support the two major parties. The people in the tea party have no allegiance to either party. They back principles. A balanced budget, limited government and personal responsibility. People I have met at rallies remind my of the people who supported Ross Perot in the 92 election. These people are a large enough minority voting block to decide national elections and I predict they will in 2012.
