The liberals did not elect Obama. They were a part of a group that elected Obama. They think they can break Obama. So can the Republicans who voted for him. I wonder why the liberals are walking around with a chip on their shoulders. I think for some people electing your candidate for president means he is to do everything for your team while screwing the other guys. The fact that Obama is not is creating a lot of difficulty for them.

I was with the kids at the U of O and those kids are not moderates. They lobved him an worked their asses off to get him elected. They also stayed home in 10. He ran on change and could have done anything, if he had not been so timid. The country was behind him and he controlled both houses. He should have started with jobs from day one. We were losiing 700,000 a month and he could have gotten the Public option and a much larger stimulus, had he not caved into Republcian's on tax cuts. And not filled his cabinet with politicos like Rahm and Geithner and now Daley and Sperling. Where are the bill Moyers, Robert Reichs and Bill bradly's? What you see the congressional black caucus saying now, was true from day one. He let us all down. Why we don't know. He did not do what he said he would do. It is clear to anyone who looks.
