Seeing the same thing in Indonesia. The capture and extradition of one of their corrupt public officials has been front-page news for weeks. They figure that he's going to name names of other officials who are just as corrupt.

It's an encouraging sign for the emerging markets. I sincerely hope that my gut is wrong in how a global recession will impact these countries. Many of them seem to be tinderboxes of resentment towards gov't corruption. All it would take is for economic times to become more difficult to set the fuze to that powderkeg.
