Tell me specifially what I said that was incorrect. Thinking clearly? I spent 30 years in the political arena. FDR and TR were in an all out fight with the congress. Remember FDR's famous quote:"they hate me and I welcome their hate". Can you imagine Obama saying that. And look what FDR got done. The congressional black caucus and most in it have just said what Stockman Scott, Wharfy and I have been saying for a year. You didn't like that talk either. Is the congressional black caucus wrong too? We are saying nothing different than they are. They are in congress for gods sake and black. Surely you can appreciate how bad things must be for them to question Obama. So, one question, if I am saying EXACTLY the same thing the congressional black caucus is saying, how is it I am not thinking clearly?? <<But Obama wanted nothing to do with Stiglitz and Krugman. Instead he listened to Rahm and Geithner and Summers and his political friends. koan, after several of your posts over the past two months, I have concluded that your prejudiced bend of mind has prevented you from a clear thought process. I am not sure if now you are even capable of thinking clearly any more. Obama is the man with a veto. Because of that he can prevent a thing from happening. But it is for the Congress to propose. The stimulus comes from the Congress. The Congress or to be more precise the Senate did not have the filibuster proof majority. It was Lieberman who had the sole power to say what goes or does not go into the stimulus. so much for the liberals who are walking around with a chip on their shoulders. why did they not succeed in getting a real filibuster proof majority.

The president has tremendous power if he choses to use it like bush did. Where was the fight? I must have missed it. The congressional black caucus used those exact words: "we want Obama to fight". So what are they talking about? As they are in congress, why are they asking Obama to fight if it is not possible?
