I am of the opinion that the millions of folks relying on the continued Colorado River flows are not accounting for the demonstrated "myth" of climate change and the northern migration of people who are certain to be affected as that water source becomes more and more questionable.

I've spent a considerable amount of time in the West over the years and just today I was having this internal debate (during a torrential storm here in upstate, NY), of how the migration pattern will emerge with water supply being prominent on the list of factors....

The conservative echo chamber does not need facts. Opinions, bounced around thru enough bozo commentators become "facts".

This is a well documented phenomenon. The "big lie" repeated often enough gains believability, with the only justification being repeated exposure to the whopper. This is particularly pernicious with the advent of the internet and the practice of bozos to originate, disseminate and encourage further dissemination of outright fiction vie email. Each sender reinforcing the lie by adding his "credibility" to the original nonsense.

Exactly. What should be considered a myth is treated like its fact.

Arizona is a laughing stock to most educated people.

It also is in an unsustainable position regarding future water availability.

That's one of the reasons I left S. CA. Its too dependent on water from N. CA and the Colorado.

This includes people on both sides of the US/Mexico political boundary.

What's surprising to me is that signs of climate change seem to be already upon us.....with both winter and summer records falling left and right. I didn't think we would such evidence so early on.
