Some consistency please...if you raised it on 250K and above earning it would generate almost the same amount spent in the stimulus...the very sum that sends you off on angry rants against obama...

This is ridiculous.

First of all, there is no evidence to suggest that raising taxes on those making above 250K would increase revenue by one nickel. Historically, such tax increases have NOT. Whether it MIGHT depends on how it was implemented.

The stimulus was a waste of a trillion dollars, a large portion of which gives the appearance of political payback. No amount of tax increases can justify it.
