Buddy, Good response, Here is what seems to happen. You (or anyone) make a statement that puts you on a particular side, you are identified with other well known individuals that are on your side. They are your team members. Then one of them makes an outrageous statement and the other side wants to know If you defend that statement, if you believe the same way as your team member. You can make a simple response, no in this case I don't believe that, or yes I agree. You took the more complex answer, I don't know if they should go to hell, I don't know them well enough. It really doesn't help us in determining if you think what she said was okay by you or not. I personally have no problem in disagreeing with statements that my associated team members say because I am not on a team, I have my own beliefs. I do however believe adhomonym attacks are not good for the discourse and I don't believe anybody should go to hell for a political position.
