John Wayne was not an orator either. This is the kind of man the US is looking for.

Copeland....maybe and maybe not! Americans I talk to, both in Seattle and other places in the US, and of both parties, are TRULY sick of this terrible economy. It is Project #1, effective Immediately! The older folks are just getting killed, and seeing their savings evaporate before their eyes, and with ZERO interest...the new college grads are having to live at home with the "folks" in so many cases, and the workers are working about 60 plus hours a week, just to try to stay even...everyone is understaffed.

SO, Personally, I think the Dems can go ahead and try to make Texas background for Perry a comparison to GWB....It will be TOTAL FOLLY on their part to do so.

Most people are smart enough to know that GWB had a Dem congress for the last 2 years of his Presidency...And by now, most people know WHAT group is doing the massive spending!

It's pretty arrogant to talk in terms of Evangelical "hicks".....Are you including the folks who are Catholic in that group, and how about all the other people who are "of faith".....

As far as being an Orator.....Rolling My Eyes!!! Haven't we ALL had enough of a good Orator to last us the rest of our lifetime??????

I'm very ready to settle for a Republican Harry Truman if that's what it takes....BUT One More Thing....We'd better hope we have both House and Senate for awhile... Looking at Byron York's piece today makes it pretty clear where the HUGE amount of spending is coming from....
