It will depend on how well he starts out. This was Palin's strategic error. She could never get by the first impression they gave of her. Judging by his impressive opening day, Perry and his team won't be making those mistakes. Perry will give MSM interviews in his own good time, if ever. Remember Palin didn't even have her own team; she had McCain's. It wasn't entirely clear from their behavior whether they were trying to support her or sabotage her.
